Not only are they vegan but they are super moist and delicious.
You can use any fruit spread you like, raspberry, blueberry, blackberry you name it.
Just be careful, they go fast. I didn't take a picture in time so all I had left were scraps on a plate!

Chocolate Raspberry Brownies
Adapted from "Veganomicon"
Makes one pan
You will need:
1 bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips (2 bags of chocolate chips wouldn't be bad either)
10 ounces raspberry spreadable fruit, or the flavor of your choice
1/4 cup soy milk
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup canola oil
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose four
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup fresh raspberries (or the fruit of your choice) optional
shredded or desiccated coconut for topping
Preheat your oven to 325*F
Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan
Melt 2/3 cup of the chocolate chips either with a double boiler or in the microwave until just melted, set aside
Mix on high speed-fruit spread, soy milk, sugar, canola oil, and vanilla extract until smooth and no lumps.
Sift the cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt
Mix until just combined
Add the melted chocolate and mix until just combined
Fold in the chocolate chips and fresh fruit making sure to gently mix well.
Spread the batter into the pan
Sprinkle with coconut
Bake 45 minutes (you can't do a knife or toothpick test because of the chocolate chips)
Let cool and serve
