Sadie is now 2 weeks old.
Last week flew by. My mom was here for most of the week. She made us some dinner and cleaned our apartment. She even shampooed our carpets!
It was nice to have her around. I was able to eat, take showers and relax.
Poor Peter had to go back to work.
Sadie is doing well, gaining weight and becoming quite the little chicken, which by the way, is her nickname. "Chicken" because of her glorious little chicken legs.
She has decided that clothing is for the weak, all you really need is a diaper and your mom.
She also thinks that only daddies and babies should eat or sleep.
Sadie had her first bath, and hung out with some friends.
She even had the courtesy to wait until after we had finished dinner at Spettro to cry for food.
So far the Chicken has been pretty easy, I have been able to cook dinner, bake and do the laundry. Sleeping soundly? Well, that's another story.
I've even managed to somehow lose half the weight I gained while pregnant in only 2 weeks!
