Get this......

So today at work, we were prepping for a party for Bette Midler and another party for Jerry Seinfeld. I dipped 2000 candied orange and lemon peels in chocolate and rolled 700 raspberry truffles in cocoa powder for both events. Luckily, I love working with chocolate.
I thought this was funny...........
Bette Midler requested pigs in a blanket. Remember, those? Sure they taste good, what doesn't taste good wrapped in puff pastry. It's just sort of a weird request for a black tie party, don't you think?
Then for the Seinfeld party, Jessica Seinfeld requested all sugar free desserts because she wanted to keep it healthy. Sugar free desserts, but they were serving mini cheeseburgers and fries, asparagus wrapped in prosciutto and a bunch of other really "healthy" savory items.
People are so funny, right?

Anyway, I am off to SF for a few days to eat burritos by the bay, and maybe some sourdough bread. I can't wait.

You know I'll be wearing flowers in my hair too.
